Thunder Free Agency

This year the Thunder made some good trades and lots of improvement the second half of the season.  The continued growth of Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and Jeff Green will be carried onto next year.  One player overlookd was DJ White.   He showed some promise at season's end.  The Thunder are in great position with the 3rd overall pick and another late first rounder.  But, what about free agency?

Desmond Mason, Malik Rose, and Robert Swift are all free agents.  I don't invision any of them remaining with the team.  Chucky Atkins, Shaun Livingston, and Earl Watson are all free agents the next year.  So, don't be surprised to see any of them dealt this summer.  They need an inside presence and a shooter.  Here who is available that might come to OKC.

Mikki Moore from Boston--He could bang inside and get rebounds.  He does have starting experience.

Brandon Bass from Dallas--Bass started some and has progressed as he should.  He also played in OKC when the Hornets were there.

Chris Anderson--Denver---would be perfect inside for the Thunder.  He also played in OKC when the Hornets were there.  But, his playoff success will have many teams wanting him.

Stephon Graham from Indiana--He provides hustle and defense and the attitude that OKC likes.  He is also a local boy.

Sheldon Williams---Minnesota---Played HS in OKC.  Never has developed like people thought he would.  Maybe this year?

Matt Barnes--Phoenix---Not many shooters in this years free agency.  Matt is just about it.

There are some bigger names.   But they will go to teams that have a better chance of winning or lots of money.  One thing I don't see the Thunder doing is over spending just to get someone.  Experience alone is going to improve this team.  Bet on them to improve.
