Clippers send Randolph to Memphis

The Los Angelos Clippers sent Zach Randolph to the Memphis Grizzlies for Quentin Richardson.  A move that was needed after having a surplus of inside talent with newly drafted Blake Griffin.  Griffin has been sensastional in summer league and will likely start for the Clippers.  Using the Howard Sports winning system, Randolph earned 2 wins while Richardson earned 3.  So, it's a pretty even swap.  The Grizzlies acquired Richardson from the Knicks for Darko Milicic this summer.  So, Richardson never played a game for Memphis.

Here is the Lineup for the Clippers with last years wins earned by players using according to Howard Sports

PG  Baron Davis--3 the worst year of his career.  Usually a 6 to 8 game winner

SG Eric Gordon--3  A young star continuing to improve.

SF Al Thornton--2 Another young improving player

PF Blake Griffin--7 The first pick averages 7 wins their first year.

C C Kaman--1 an injury filled year still a quality player

Quentin Richardson--3  Marcus Camby--2  8 others with one win.

This team could be a playoff team.  They have a good starting lineup with lots of good pieces on the bench.  It's just a matter of putting them together.

Memphis

PG M Conley--3  improving, but not sure he is the answer

SG OJ Mayo--4  Will be an all star one day

SF R Gay--4 a very good player that is getting better

PF  Z Randolph--2  Can score!

C M Gasol--3  another pleasant surprise

H Thabett--6, last year's 2nd pick earned 6 wins.  I don't Thabeet will do that.  He just doesn't score.

D Arthur--2 H Warrickj--2.

This team will probably win the same number of games.  But is going the right direction.
