Bracketology March 14

A preview as the committee unveils their bracket in less than 5 hours.

I have taken the AP and Coache's poll as well as the RPI and Jeff Sagarain to compile the following:

1) KANSAS     KENTUCKY   DUKE   SYRACUSE                  there may be a swap with Syr and WV

2) W VIRGINIA    KANSAS ST   PURDUE   VILLANOVA    Ohio State may swap with Purdue

3)  NEW MEXICO   OHIO ST  BAYLOR   BUTLER     Temple may swap with Baylor

4)  TEMPLE   TENNESSEE  BYU   GEORGETOWN

5) WISCONSIN    PITTSBURGH   MICHIGAN ST   MARYLAND

6)  TEXAS A&M   XAVIER   VANDERBILT   N IOWA

7)  TEXAS   GONZAGA   CALIFORNIA  RICHMOND  this may be too high for richmond

8)  UTEP  UTAH ST  SD ST   ST MARY'S       this may be too high for sd st

9)  CLEMSON   OKLAHOMA ST  GA TECH   MISSOURI

10)  MARQUETTE  OLD DOMINIONS  FLORIDA ST  LOUISVILLE

11)  VIRGINIA TECH   NOTRE DAME    SIENA    WASHINGTON   siena is climbing

12) CORNELL   WAKE FOREST  UNLV   RHODE ISLAND

13) MURRAY  NM STATE  WOFFORD  OAKLAND

14)  SAM HOUSTON ST    HOUSTON   MONTANA   OHIO

15) UCSB   MORGAN   VERMONT  NTEXAS

16)  EAST TENN ST     ROBERT MORRIS    LEHIGH   WINTRHOP  ARKANSAS PINE BLUFF

So here are teams in order that are left out:

MISS STATE     FLORIDA   MINNESOTA   UAB MEMPHIS    WHICHITA STATE

If you listen to CBS and ESPN, you will here that Minnesota and Whichita state are in and even Kent State and  maybe Miss st.  If so, then, you have to look at the last ones that made it in.  Which are the ones above Murray.  Rhode Island is the first on the list and then UNLV.  Wake Forrest is next and then Notre Dame.  This is going to be very interesting today.  I think that Memphis is in and Rhode Island is out.  Then Mississippi State is in and UNLV is out.  This is a tough decision by the committee.

Keywords: basketball, bracketology, bubble, california, championship week, duke, in and out, memphis, ncaa, the big dance, west virinia
