The Bills have finished 7 and 9 three years in a row.  It may become four.  The team looks great and shaky offensively at the same time.  The no huddle offense is a new addition and so is Terrell Owens.  So, you can expect big things.  The downside is that 2 rookies are starting on an already shaky offensive line.

QB

Trent Edwards is the starter and with the no huddle and Terrell Owens on the team, expect his numbers to rise.  He did not have any 300 yard passing games and only one multiple TD game.  He could be the most improved quarterback in the league.  However, with an offensive line that is starting 2 rookies and Lynch out the first 3 games, he could be dead meat to start the season.  He could be a steal.  You are going to need a quarterback to replace him at some point. The safest bet here is that he won't stay healthy for all 16 games.  Backup Ryan Fitzpatrick is a good backup.  He got plenty of time with Cincinnati last year.

The Dolphins were a much improved team last year.  There might be a slight step back this year, or maybe a stand still.  This team won't be better.  Mostly because they did not upgrade their talent that much and their scheduale will be a lot harder.  The defense will be the strength of this team and the offense will be a ball control type offense.  So, low scores means a good fantasy pick for the defense.

 QB

Chad Pennington had some good games and was a great story last year.  He is not the guy who will get them to the next level.  So, don't waste your time if you are in a keeper league.  He will be over valued by most.  Pennington doesn't have back to  back weeks that are statistically sound.  He will start the season as a starter and that is big in some fantasy leagues.  If the Dolphins faulter, Chad Henne will probably get a shot.  At this point, he is a wild card.  Who knows how good or bad he is going to be.  Keep an eye on him.  Pat White is another backup QB who will run all over the field.  He will play every week and get some touches.  It's a hit or miss as to weather he will score. He is a big play waiting to happen.  So, he may be worth a shot in those big play scoring leagues.  If I were in a deep keeper league, I would pick him and play him once in a while in a utility or receiver spot.

Michael Jordan came back, twice.  The first time was an unbelievable run.  The second time was with the Wizards.  He made them better.  Richard Hamilton learned a lot from Jordan.  Enough to win a championship.

Will the same happen in Minnesota?  Yes.  Let's look at it.   This past week, after the first exhibition game, veterans were screaming for Favre.  Minneosta and Favre quickly responded.  Rosefells and Jackson are not the answer.  A broken old Favre is way better than those two.  With Peterson and Taylor in the backfield, Favre will have his way on play action pass.  I don't care who is throwing to, but he can get them the ball.  At least enough to make teams second guessing themselves when they put 8 men in the box.
