y one Pac 10 team was going to make it. 

Duke and Cal.  Duke is still a favorite here. California has been pretty quiet this year.  I still say Duke to the final four.

Texas A and M takes on Purdue.  The Aggies have been  pleasant surprise.  Just like their Big 10 counterparts, Wisconsin, the Boilermakers were suppose to lose to a lower seed. People will say the same again today.  But, Purdue is still pretty good.  I say Purdue as a bracket buster, they win.

hey are capable of beating the #1 team in the nation tonight and then losing the next.

Louisville California is going to be a very fun first round game. California has been gaining momentum heading into the tournament. I think this game is a toss up. The winner will play Duke.

65 teams will get invited to the big dance.  There are 31 conferences with automatic bids.  That leaves 34 at-large bids.  Most of those conferences will be won by a team that should get an at large bid. What causes some teams to be bumped off the bubble is those conferences that someone wins that wouldn't normally be invited.
