Los Angelos

The Knicks win over Charlotte isn't the biggest news of the season.  But, there are some things I liked about it.

1) Danilo Gallinari played 36 minutes and had 21 points.  He is maturing by the day.

Quentin Richardson has traveled from New York to Memphis to Los Angelos, and now to Minnesota.  He takes with him $9mil for one year.  Last season he earned 3 wins for the New York

The Los Angelos Clippers sent Zach Randolph to the Memphis Grizzlies for Quentin Richardson.  A move that was needed after having a surplus of inside talent with newly drafted Blake Griffin.  Griffin has been sensastional in summer league and will likely start for the Clippers.  Using the Howard Sports winning system, Randolph earned 2 wins while Richardson earned 3.  So, it's a pretty even swap.  The Grizzlies acquired Richardson from the Knicks for Darko Milicic this summer.  So, Richardson never played a game for Memphis.

Summer league is a time for development.  The Lakers are still deciding on what to do with Lamar Odom.  But, in the meantime, Adam Morrison is making the most of summer time.  He had 24 points 5 rebounds, 3 assist, and 1 turnover in his summer league debut.  Then, he had 22 points and hit 4 three pointers in his second game. Great numbers and improvement.  If Morrison can contribute off the bench, it will provide much needed insurance for if/when Ron Artest melts down.

The Los Angelos Lakers have gotten better on paper.  When they let Trevor Ariza go last week via free agency, they lost 6 wins.  However, they gained 7 wins when they signed Ron Artest.  Here is a look at next year's squad and how many wins they achieved statistically this past season:

If you were to glance at headlines yesterday, you might thing that the Los Angelos Lakers and the Houston Rockets made a trade.  What is happening is that they are recruiting the other team's free agent.  Ron Artest sent out a text saying he is happy to be a Laker.  Meanwhile, Trevor Ariza is saying that he might be a Rocket.  So, they are basically swapping small forwards.  It is a good move for both teams.  The Lakers want to win another championship and to do that, you have to mix things up a bit.  Artest makes them better.  He can score and defend.  Ariza is still developing and getting better, Artest is already there.

With the first pick of the NBA draft, the Clippers are in great shape. I looked at the last 19 years and broken it down as follows: Super stars--11 Quality starter--2 Starters--3 Bench --3 So, histori

The Clippers had a horrible year.  They were suppose to be more than just a playoff contender.  Fred Jones is a free agent and Ricky Davis has a players option.  I doubt he will leave.  The Clippers have the first overall pick and will take Blake Griffin.  A trade could happen and if it does it's likely to involve either Camby, Randolph, or Kaman who all have close to or over 10million on their contracts.

Every Oklahoman wants to see Blake Griffin in an Oklahoma Thunder uniform.  The only way this is to happen is to trade with the Clippers.  The best chance the Thunder has is to trade both of
