Miami destroys rival Orlando.   The Magic shot a horrible 30% as D-Wade lead the Heat with 26.   Miami's bench had 7 3's and Haslem had 11 rebounds.

 Last night was a scarry indicator to the rest of the league how it may be this year.

Amare Stoudamire becoming a Knick just makes sense (and dollars).  He is being reunited with coach Mike D'Antoni and his high octane offense.  That means even more stats for Stoudamire.  There are currently hopes of landing Lebron and or Wade with this signing.  But, should they not get either, New York has gotten better with Amare.

er are inside presence and outside shooting.  They got the shooter by trading the 32nd pick to Miami for sharp shooter D. Cook and the 18th overall pick.  Wow!  The move helps

at the playoffs if they were today.

1 Cleveland vs.  8 Chicago

2 Orlando vs   7 Miami

3 Atlanta vs 6 Charlotte

4 Boston vs 5 Toronto

Chicago looks like they have regressed overall from last year. But lately, they have started getting into the groove. Derrick Rose is unreal and they might win a game but they won't beat Cleveland.

Dewayne Wade said recently that if the Heat aren't contending for a title, he isn't staying.  He wants to win another.  This is a big year for the Heat for that very reason.  If things aren't going well this year, expect a lot of movement.  You might see some before then.  Wade has a player option next year and could bolt.  Udonis Haslem, Jermaine O'Neal and Chris Quinn will all be free agents next year.  Instead of losing the whole lot, you could see some deals again.  Let's take a look at the current lineup.  Listed beside each player is how many wins they achieved statistically last year.
