The dust has started to settle and it looks like the Big 10 in now the Big 12 and vice versa. The Big 10 will finally get to have it's championship game with Nebraska now on board. Weather they pick up any more teams is speculation and rumor right now. But, the excitement of a championship game and the revenue it will bring will be spectacular. There is one catch with a championship game, it elminates champions.

Last year, USC finished 22nd and Oregon 11th. USC is a sinking ship and so is Oregon. The rest of the Pac 10 doesn't look so well either. Arizona is on the rise, but that's it. Now here comes the Big 12. Colorado already has joined. That won't help the conference to much in the immediate future, but

Texas A and M takes on Purdue. The Aggies have been pleasant surprise. Just like their Big 10 counterparts, Wisconsin, the Boilermakers were suppose to lose to a lower seed. People will say the same again today. But, Purdue is still pretty good. I say Purdue as a bracket buster, they win.

If you were to glance at headlines yesterday, you might thing that the Los Angelos Lakers and the Houston Rockets made a trade. What is happening is that they are recruiting the other team's free agent. Ron Artest sent out a text saying he is happy to be a Laker. Meanwhile, Trevor Ariza is saying that he might be a Rocket. So, they are basically swapping small forwards. It is a good move for both teams. The Lakers want to win another championship and to do that, you have to mix things up a bit. Artest makes them better. He can score and defend. Ariza is still developing and getting better, Artest is already there.
