Russell Westbrook is on the fast track to becoming a premier player in this league. He got to the free throw line 13 times, had 10 rebounds, 28 points, and only 3 turn overs. Talk about production at the point, Eric Maynor came off the bench and added ten points with perfect shooting. 38 points from the pg and only 3 turnovers is incredibl.e

As a sidenote, Russell Westbrook played limited minutes with a stomach virus last night. Eric Maynor did good, as usual, in his absence. But, they are going to need everyone at full throttle this week.

No one is playing as good as Durant. Jeff Green had 27 last night. Westbrook is amazing and continues to impress. Sefaloosha can hand cuff the best and Krstic is almost a double double level. The bench has become solid. Nick Collison is a blue collar veteran that knows how to play. Ibaka is turning into a weapon offesnisvely and can rebound. He is a high energy guy. Eric Maynor's turnover to assist ratio is incredible for a rookie. The only down fall is that Harden is out and may miss a month with a hamstring injury. He should be back for the playoffs. If he returns at the level he was playing at, the Thunder have a scorer off the bench. Unitl then, Kyle Weaver will be picking up the slack.

Last year the OKC Thunder won 23 games. I'm curious to hear from all you fans on how many wins you think they will win this year. I am guessing 32. 9 games in one year is a big jump. The key addition is draft pick Harden, whom I think is a very solid addition and keeps the team moving in the right direction. Another key addition is last year's first round pick DJWhite. He missed most of last yaer and looked good late in the season when he saw his first action. He provides some inside hustle and scoring. This team really lacks inside presence on both ends of the floor. Let's see how much progress can be made this year. Reply to this post with how many wins you think they will get.
